Situation — King of Swords. A king sits facing forward, sword upright, clouds unmoving behind him. This is the card of the person who has already done the thinking. You are not confused about this decision at work — you have weighed it, argued it in your head from both sides, and arrived somewhere. What you are missing is not clarity. It is the willingness to say the conclusion out loud, in a room, where someone can disagree with it. The King's sword is drawn and idle. That is the whole picture of where you are.
Obstacle
The TowerXVI · Major Arcana
Obstacle — The Tower. Lightning takes the crown off a high tower and two figures fall from it. In this seat, The Tower is not a prophecy — it is the thing you are quietly bracing against. You have already imagined what breaks if you commit: an arrangement, a reporting line, someone's good opinion of you. That imagined collapse is doing more to hold you in place than anything actually happening. And notice what the card shows: the crown comes off, the tower stands. Structures survive losing the thing on top of them.
Advice
The HermitIX · Major Arcana
Advice — The Hermit. An old man on a summit holds a lantern with a single star inside it, and the lantern lights only the next few steps. The advice is not to withdraw and think longer — you have done that, that is card one. It is to stop consulting. Take the decision away from the committee in your head, the one made of everyone whose reaction you are modelling, and carry it alone for a short distance. The lantern does not show the whole path down the mountain. It shows enough to take one step without falling, which is all it has ever needed to show.
